ASUTA is looking for qualified candidate to fill the following vacancies.

Position: -                    1 Post, Loan/Accountant Officer

Work station:                Bagamoyo

Experience                   1 year with Micro Finance Institution particularly as loan Officer.

Qualifiacations             B.A in accounting added with Loans experience and entrepreneurship skills

Job Description and duties.

1. Payment vouchers

       Prepare all payment vouchers as per procedures and batch together for processing into

accounting system.

       Process all payment batches into accounting system as per procedures.

2. Monthly Accounts.

       Ensure posting to general ledger is timely and accurate

       Ensure statutory deductions are timely prepared and paid

        

3. Monthly Management Accounts.

       Ensure that monthly management accounts are produced by the specified date.

       Check monthly management accounts for errors and correct.

4. Accounts System.

       Assist in implementation and maintenance of computerized accounting system

        Full co-operation with Auditors and in preparation of Annual report

       Supervise administration staff

       Support other staff in terms of understanding financial and purchasing procedures for

Compliance

5. NGO Analysis.

       Assist to establish an appropriate chart of accounts to prepare meaningful cost analysis

        Draw to the Finance manager’s attention any changes in financial law or regulations which

affect the organization.

6 Payroll

       Assist on preparation of payroll

7. Assist in all other areas of financial management as required from time to time by the

Manager.

8. Such other tasks as may be assigned by management.
